The Loop

This project is the result of a collaboration between choreographer Emanuelis Gat and the dancers of Kaunas Dance Theatre “Aura”. It is a personal journey of eleven individuals searching for connection. A complex choreographic structure and at the same time a dance reduced to its essential elements, when the dancers “drive” the work and recreate it anew each time, examining the role of the performer as a stage, a living creator.
In “Repeaters”, the flow of choreographic thought freely maneuvers between issues of scale, decision-making, collaboration strategies, efficiency and clarity, real-time choreography, theatrical devices and musical interpretations to reveal the inner logic and mechanics of human behavior.
