“ALWAYS THERE BUT ELSEWHERE” is a contemporary and street dance duet about a relationship in constant flux. It explores the connection between two young people, oscillating between closeness and distance, attraction and resistance. They meet, drift apart, and return to one another again, yet each remains in their own flow—like two rivers running side by side, not always merging.

Here, the fluidity of contemporary dance intertwines with the dynamics of street dance. The bodies search for support in each other, then push away and distance themselves. Movement shifts from dialogue to conflict, from conflict to silence. Physical contact becomes an attempt to communicate without words, while withdrawal signals that distance may exist not between bodies, but within.

It is a story about the contemporary individual—about constant accessibility and, at the same time, the difficulty of achieving true closeness.
